Based in Salem, Massachusetts, Ray Richard founded Ray’s Wood Floors in 1975. Ray and his son Josh specialize in installation, refinishing, staining, and repair. Whether the job is in new construction or restoring historic colonial planking, our craftsmanship has you covered.

In December 2023, Ray passed away after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He worked well into his final year of life, driving the big truck to jobs and inspecting Josh’s work. In honor of Ray’s life and legacy, Josh is now the official owner of Ray’s Wood Floors.
